I served a machinist
apprenticeship at a large job shop in Seattle and worked there for 23 years.
While there I developed and ran a machinist apprenticeship program for
about 10 years. In 1973 I married a Lewiston girl, Georgene McDowell. We
had three daughters, and one died from cancer in 1978. In 1990 we purchased
a Campground/RV resort near Crater Lake National Park and eventually sold it
in 1998. Divorcing in 2000, I moved to the Portland area to be near my
daughters and their families. I returned to the machinist trade and I
currently manage a machine shop in Portland. I have 4 grandkids and one on
the way; a grandson age 5 was killed in an auto accident last year.
I live outside
of Dundee, Oregon on a few acres in the middle of Oregon Wine Country, along
with my huge hound dog Moon. I have a small vineyard, orchards and gardens
and am currently remodeling the house completely in my limited spare time
and I also board horses.
I met my
fiancé, Marina Bromba from Canada a couple of years ago and we are currently
jumping the immigration hurdles to get her into the states so we can get
married. We share a common interest of motorcycles and both own Moto Guzzi
as well as several others. I owned and operated a motorcycle sidecar
company for a number of years, taught riding through MSF, and have owned a
small fortune in motorcycles and sidecars over the years but I’ve always
believed a man cant have enough toys or tools. I have too many of both!
My passions in
life are Marina (cant leave that out!), motorcycles, good scotch and fine
cigars, and my career. I know I’ll never fully retire as I’m too much of a
workaholic and I’ll probably need the money to buy more toys and tools!

Since last reunion, I went back to school for RN refresher in Dallas and
have been employed in nursing since then. I worked in the Emergency Dept at
Lancaster Memorial Hospital in Lancaster, TX and then did some Home Health
Nursing. We moved back to the Northwest in December, 2006 to adopt my
husband's son's grandson. He is 10 years old. It is quite a challenge to
start parenting all over again. I am working in the ED at Pullman and we
are living in Colfax. Not thrilled with that choice, but found a house we
love here. Other than than, have done our share of traveling, riding our
Harley and enjoying a total of 11 grandchildren. Thankful to be healthy and
happy. I lost my Mother in June. It's weird to be the parent completely
and no longer the child.

I have remained in Lewiston
these 40 years, still smells. I have been office manager in the same dental
practice for the last 21 years. My daughter, Jessie is '30' and my lively
grandson (Leighton) is 9 years old. I don't know where the time has gone. I
know I can't wait to see you all this summer. My memory isn't that great and
hope I remember your names. I am not married, but my partner, Jerry Green
will be attending with me. See you at the barbecue!

I've been fortunate
enough to be able to stay in Lewiston all my life, and have worked in the
transportation group at Potlatch Corporation for the last 33 years. We
enjoy our annual vacations to the Oregon Coast, Des Moines, IA (where Linda
is from), and Orlando, FL where one of our Sons lives. My hobbies have
always revolved around hot cars, hotrods, and motorcycles, and I'm
currently working on a custom Harley that I've had for several years. Ernie
Moore and I have remained buddies for over 48 years and like to attend
custom car shows and drag races while the wives go shopping (works out great
for everyone). I hope folks remember who I am. For some reason my
graduation picture got left out of the annual. Looking forward to seeing
everyone.

Hello, my name is Rylie and I’m 9 years old. My Papa “Mark Weber” didn’t
want to write about himself for his 40th class reunion book so
my
mom and I decided to do it for him. We thought that since he’s so special to
us, everyone else should know a little about him to. He graduated from high
school in 1967, went to college and worked really hard for Omark, Blount,
ATK as a production manager for 35 yrs, and retired 3 years ago. Now he
occasionally works for a company taking water samples along different areas
of the river and really likes it. Papa has been with the “catch” of his
life, Margie (my Grammie) for 25 years. They have a daughter and 2
granddaughters who live here in Lewiston; a son, daughter in law and 2
granddaughters that live in Tennessee, and a black Lab named Chloe. He stays
very busy fishing from Canada to Mexico, building things, doing Grammie’s
honey dos, doing all of my mom’s chores, fixing things (Papa can fix
anything) and taking care of my sister and I when we feel like playing hooky
from school. My Papa says that most of his days are stressful because each
day when he wakes up, it’s hard for Chloe and him to decide if he should
fish the Snake river or the Clearwater.

Rob and I have been together for over 20 years, out in the county in
Kelso, Washington. It's quiet, peaceful and we share it with lots of
critters from herds of elk, to the beautiful blue herons who land in
our creek and the playful raccoons. Oh, and I can't forget the howling
of the coyotes during the night!
I have three fantastic children and the most enjoyable grandchildren
ever!
Dalton is 12, Carly is 7 and Garrett is 8.
Rob is a truck driver who is home nightly. I am retired and enjoy
gardening, visiting thrift stores, vintage shopping and I have recently
started doing my family genealogy. But most of all, we enjoy having the
grandkids as often as we can. Life is good!

My husband and I live in Modesto California and have lived
here for the past 18 years. Jim just retired from the Carpenters Union after 33
years as a carpenter. My son is also in the union he just turned 31 in Dec 2006.
We have two beautiful granddaughters Kaila who will be 13 this year and Amaya
will be 4. They are what keep me going.
My mother lived with us the last 5 years of her life and
the last two I was her full time care giver. It was the hardest job I have ever
had but I don't regret a minute of the time I had with her.
We are in process of remodeling our house but are not
looking forward to the mess before it is done. I don't know if I will be there
this year because of some things that have come up in our lives recently. I want
to see everyone and miss you all.

The past ten years have been spent honing
my violin teaching skills and building
my empire of students. This is the
BEST job I've ever had!
Besides teaching violin my other favorite
thing to do is go the the cabin with Char and Ken. We hatched this annual trip
at the last reunion. The Children within comes out every time we go there. It
must be the water, or something.
One of these years we just may not return
to the city.

Marv and Linda have lived in
Boise for 12 years. Marv worked at LCSC as the
PR guy (recruitment, lobby effort, media coordinator and fund raiser) for
eight years after graduation there, earned a Masters Degree at the U of

Idaho, and then became the Dean of Admissions at Eastern Oregon University.
Between 1981 and 2006, he trained insurance agents. In 2006, he sold his
insurance business and went to work for The College Network. Linda teaches
at the Idaho Prison High School and is finishing a PhD in Education
Leadership. Linda is looking for a college to teach at somewhere nearer her
parents in New Mexico, so a move is on the horizon.
Marv's son and daughter in law, Steven and Amber, are expecting their first
child in May, 2007, so Grandpa Marv and Linda will become grandparents.

After high school I tried LCSC for
awhile, but schooling was not for me. I went on to work at potlatch until
joining the US
Navy
in august of 1968. During my enlistment in the
military
I broke my right knee and about the same time period I ran afoul of some laws of
or land and was subsequently imprisoned for close to two years of my life.
Although I turned 21 in prison I was not doing life without parole and I did not
kill anyone. I just made some mistakes that caused me to take another look at
where I was going in life. Although over the years there has been many
repercussions from my status as an ex-felon I did discover a propensity for art
while in prison and pursued that end at LCSC for a few years after my release
from prison. I enjoyed the artistic period of my life but needed to move on and
earn a living. I started working at the bullet factory in Lewiston now called
ATK. During the years that I worked, I married and had two sons, who are now
ages 22 and 20. Both my sons live in Lewiston, one works for ATK and the other
for the
movie
theaters. My youngest son has plans to be married in august of this year. I
retired from ATK in April of 2006 with 28 years of service. My knee that I broke
in the
military
finally gave out on me and I had a knee replacement in June of 2004. Since
retirement
I have been
traveling
some in the
pacific
northwest. I have a large camper and hook my
boat
on behind and head out for new and some old destinations that have been fun in
the past. I like
fishing
waters that are new to me and enjoying the scenery at these destinations. Salmon
falls creek reservoir in southern
Idaho
is one of my new places to visit this summer and in October I am headed for
Wyoming in pursuit of buffalo with my muzzle loading rifle. In 2005 I bought the
first brand new vehicle that I have ever owned. A 4-wheeler. I love puttering
around in the mountains. I do not walk so good anymore so the 4-wheeler has been
a great tool for me to get out of town. Whenever I am heading back home from a
trip, at one point I always say to myself (Man I do not want to go back there.)
I have always wanted to live in the country rather than town but never seem to
find just the right place. Its almost time to de-winterize the camper and get it
ready to go. I just hope the diesel price does not go so high this summer that I
have to stay home. See you on the road or some pretty
lake
somewhere in the U.S.
